Clinicum Technicale | Clinicum Digitale

With the events "Clinicum Digitale" and "Clinicum Technicale", the EKFZ promotes interdisciplinary collaboration between the fields of medicine, engineering and computer science and thus lays the foundation for a promising university medicine. Medical and computer science students are invited to discover the promising technologies that result from the fusion of the two disciplines, for example in connection with artificial intelligence algorithms and Big Data or Robotics and Human Interface. The students are to become pioneers of an innovative medicine in which thinking and working transcends specialist disciplines. Growing together into an interdisciplinary group is particularly important for this. After an intensive week in which the students learn the basics of each other's field, they come together to form an interdisciplinary student group. With this group, the students have the chance to implement their own small project in a research area of their choice in the summer semester of 2021. The best project groups are allowed to present their posters in front of a large audience at the EKFZ Autumn Symposium.
