Realizing innovative ideas

The Else Kröner Fresenius Center for Digital Health at TU Dresden has been established in September 2019.

Driven by specific medical needs and with direct access to medical infrastructure, the EKFZ’s research projects accelerate the digitalization of medicine – for the benefit of patients.

She is a Clinician Scientist at the Clinical AI research group of Prof. Jakob N. Kather. She explains why it is an advantage to be actively involved in a hospital as researching doctor, how she manages both tasks and how artificial intelligence is already being used in hospitals.
