“Where Curiosity Creates Knowledge” captures the essence of the Dresden Science Night. Science begins with questions – and comes to life through experimentation, discovery, and participation. Whether you’re a family, a science enthusiast, or simply curious: Science Night opens doors to universities, research institutions, and companies throughout the city. The EKFZ for Digital Health will be present at two locations this year.

Become a science detective! Follow the clues and solve the medical technology mystery.

Discover medical technology in a whole new way through an interactive exhibition. Learn how science works in a fun, hands-on way through the exhibits and a quiz: collect clues, compare information, evaluate your ideas, and explain why certain things work together or why they don’t. Explore and discover the next generation of medical technology.

Experience bioelectronics: How implants connect humans and machines

Learn about bioelectronic implants at two hands-on stations. Test your dexterity on a brain model and try to correctly position an electrode for brain stimulation. Experience how signals from your body are captured and transmitted, and use them to move another person’s arm.
