Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften Dresden

On the Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften (LNDW), Dresden's universities, non-university research institutions and science-related companies usually open their buildings, laboratories, lecture halls and archives to the public. This year, the LNDW will take place entirely digitally. Visitors can experience science and technology, research and innovation, art and culture in a variety of lectures, experiments, digital tours & exhibitions, and films. |

Tumor surgery on the rectum is particularly difficult. Damage to nerves can lead to incontinence and sexual problems. Scientists at the National Center for Tumor Diseases Dresden (NCT/UCC), the Else Kröner Fresenius Center (EKFZ) for Digital Health and the Center for Tactile Internet with Human-Machine Interaction (CeTI) provide exciting insights into the development of a computer-based assistance system that should significantly reduce the risk of such complications. The live presentation by Dr. Fiona Kolbinger and Dominik Rivoir will also provide an opportunity for questions.

The complete program for the Long Night is available here.
