Artificial intelligence in medicine: Is the doctor of the future not human?
What can artificial intelligence do in the future to achieve improved treatment successes and relieve medical staff in hospitals and research institutions? How does the German healthcare system compare internationally, which “best cases” can be transferred from abroad, and how can the public system benefit from the data diversity of technology companies? What legal requirements are needed, who is the “master of my data”? And do we run the risk that these companies will provide us with data on their terms in the future and the public health system will be left behind?
These and other questions have been discussed at the ZEIT FORUM Gesundheit by Prof. Jochen Hampe, Ulrich Kelber, Gottfried Ludewig and Susanne Ozegowski.
ZEIT FORUM Gesundheit is a series of events of ZEIT DOCTOR with the Else Kröner-Fresenius-Foundation.
