complexity of medical devices and the speed of innovation on the one hand and patient safety on the other be optimally reconciled? Which components of the current regulatory framework actually contribute to patient safety in the European and international context? How can approval processes be made more efficient and safer? What are the implications of using artificial intelligence and cloud solutions in medical devices?
As part of the establishment of the EKFZ a
Chair (W2/W3) for Medical Device Regulatory Affairs
is to be filled as soon as possible.
We are looking for an innovative personality who is committed to finding answers to these questions through research and to initiating an active research agenda in this field. We offer a vibrant interdisciplinary environment with physicians, engineers, economists and social scientists. Take the opportunity to build and shape this cutting edge topic at the excellent scientific location of Dresden.
