The TU Dresden wants to create an academic-industrial ecosystem for safe, highly integrated cyber-medical microsystems with the SEMECO concept and thus break the innovation backlog in the medical technology sector. SEMECO has now made it to the next round of the ideas competition of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) “Clusters4Future” as one of 15 of the 117 applications originally submitted.

Get to know the medical and technical basics of our Interdisciplinary Innovation Projects – EKFZ invites you to EKFZ-Talentschmiede
At regular intervals, clinician scientists and high-tech talents from the interdisciplinary innovation projects at the EKFZ for Digital Health explain the medical or technical basics of their projects in the so-called EKFZ-Talentschmiede. In this way, the interdisciplinary exchange is also to be deepened beyond one’s own project team. The next Talentschmiede will take place next Monday, April 12, 2021 and is open to interested parties.
Joint call for a professorship in Electronic Tissue Technologies
A new chair heading an interdisciplinary research team to be jointly established at the Faculty of Medicine/EKFZ and the IPF/Max Bergmann Center of Biomaterials. Application deadline is April 11th 2021.

The Else Kröner Fresenius Center for Digital Health at TU Dresden has been established in September 2019. Driven by specific medical needs and with direct access to medical infrastructure, the EKFZ’s research projects accelerate the digitalization of medicine – for the benefit of patients.
