Artificial Intelligence in Clinical Brain Research

Kerstin Ritter leads the research group “Machine Learning in Clinical Neuroimaging” at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. In her talk, she will show how machine and deep learning methods can be used to diagnose neurological and psychiatric diseases based on brain MRI data in combination with other data, and will discuss current challenges including robustness, explainability, and confounding variables.
