A networking event together with the Saxon State Chancellery
Prof. Kather and the Clinical AI research group at Else Kröner Fresenius Center for Digital Health in cooperation with the Saxon State Chancellery brought together 150 participants for a networking event about AI in medicine.
Chief of the State Chancellery and State Minister Oliver Schenk opened the event pointing out that Saxony has a powerful, technology-related and application-oriented research landscape. And that the Free State of Saxony continues to consistently expand the excellent research structures in the Free State in the area of AI and open them up to the latest developments.
Various speakers gave interesting insights into AI in medicine:

⭐ Insights into the Health Data Act of the Bundesministerium für Gesundheit by Malte Schmieding
⭐ Possibilities and Challenges of LLMs in Medicine presented by Stephen Gilbert.
⭐ An inspiring keynote by Jens Kleesiek on integrating AI into the Universitätsmedizin Essen
The participants could connect with different start-ups and research projects taking a closer look on use cases of AI in medicine.
